Ray Kang
Business Background
Ray Kang is an EdifyGroup LLC principal and founder. He has over 20 years
of executive and key contributor experience in sales, sales management,
marketing management, product marketing, and product development. He has
created and launched several propositions with exponential growth rates,
thousands of users and 100s of millions of dollars of annual revenue.
His career has been dedicated to the creation, development, and launch
of new business propositions. Over his career he has been instrumental
in the successful ideation, development and marketing of satellite, voice,
data, managed services, Internet, application, professional services and
VoIP propositions, and has been responsible for market innovations such
as usage based frame relay, telecommunications service level agreements,
and media extranets.
Prior to founding EdifyGroup, Ray has held vice president of product
marketing, marketing and product development positions at Wam!Net, Wizmo,
XO Communications and Qwest Communications. Up until 1998, Ray served
as Director of Broadband and Multimedia marketing at MCI and was responsible
for MCI’s data, multimedia and managed services offerings.
